Spirochrome provides SiR-reagents for the preparation protein, nucleic acid, peptide or small molecules SiR-conjugates creating tailor-made probes. Currently, carboxylic acid, NHS ester, maleimide, alkyne, azide, tetrazine and BCN derivatives of SiR are available.

Imaging of biological structures in living cells is increasingly popular and needed. Opposite to immunostaining of fixed cells, live cell fluorescence microscopy requires unique fluorescent reporters. Those need to be able to label living cells either by crossing the cellular membranes or by being assembled within the cell (like GFP).

The mission of our company is to provide the scientific community with innovative and disruptive probes in the field of live cell fluorescence imaging.
