Beacle Inc. was founded in 2002 by professors of four universities (Osaka, Keio, Kobe, and Okayama) in order to industrialize Bionanocapsule which was co-invented by them.
Bionanocapsule（BNC）is a hollow nano-sized particle that is produced by expressing HBV’s surface protein in yeast. BNC, being similar to the envelop of HBV in structure and function, can be utilized for various purposes.
Based on the BNC technology, we develops drug delivery system (DDS) by using BNC’s cellular delivery ability, highly sensitive Multi-Antibody Detection (MAD) system by using BNC consisted of antibody-binding proteins, new types of HBV vaccine by using BNC expressing the surface antigen identical to natural HBV. We also develop research reagents products for HBV- and Immunoassay-related fields.
